Teaching

“Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I may remember. Involve me and I will understand.”

Since I joined RMIT, I have developed and successfully delivered three complete project-based learning (PBL) courses from scratch. The courses are:

Each of the above courses have been designed and delivered following an effective approach towards PBL, in which there is a project (preferably a competition) at the core of the course, and all the lecture contents, tutorials and laboratory sessions are designed and delivered with particular focus on enabling the students to perform in the project towards successful completion. In my courses, students not only learn the scientific principles but also practice effective teamwork and project management in the context of a highly challenging project.

I have also supervised lots of mechatronics students for their final year projects involving designing and building of amazing automated/autonomous systems. Click here to watch videos demonstrating some examples.
